“The establishment of the MySDG Foundation is to attract more contributions to implement various programmes related to the SDG to ensure the 2030 Agenda is achieved.

“Based on the SDGs, I am confident that Malaysia will improve and be a country that is more resilient, secure and prosperous, embroidered by inclusiveness for each layer of society,” he said during the launch of MySDG Trust Fund and MySDG Foundation today.

The MySDG Trust Fund is a multi-donor mechanism to enable different parties including the government, the private sector, corporate bodies, entities within and outside Malaysia, as well as individuals to collaborate in achieving the SDGs.

The fund will be deployed in a systematic and integrated manner to finance, support and complement the government’s SDG-focused programmes and projects throughout Malaysia.
