MYTUKAR is expanding to 25 showrooms and retail experience centres nationwide this year.

While the latest outlet in Skudai, Johor, features the latest line of used cars in the market, the brand will also launch a series of retail experience centres and a one-stop shop to innovate the automotive retail sector while providing customers with end-to-end used car services.

The expansion of the showrooms, inspection and retail experience centres will include Perak, Kedah, Sabah, Sarawak, Penang, the Klang Valley, Johor and Seremban.

CEO Derrick Eng said through these expansions, myTukar hoped to establish itself as a community brand and a platform that stimulates the growth of the used car industry.

“With these physical outlets in place, we will now be able to serve our customers better, providing them even more access to a wide range of quality vehicles.

“Our goal for 2022 is to have our experience centres established across all major towns nationwide,” he said.

Eng added that the brand is currently moving towards creating a customer-centric network, ensuring its users are connected, feel safe in using the platform and prove themselves trustworthy.

“As we move towards the age of mobility, we want to provide customers with better offers and a more holistic buying and selling experience,” he added.

Currently, myTukar is experiencing a 15% to 20% increase in used car sales and expects rapid growth for 2022, due to several factors namely global semiconductor shortages affecting new car production and high new vehicle prices.

myTukar, which is part of the Carro group, is an online marketplace offering a comprehensive range of services for all aspects of car ownership, with over 4,000 sellers across Asean.

The brand’s digital bidding platform enables users to conveniently buy or sell their vehicles from the comfort of their own homes.
