AIR SELANGOR is exempting January’s water bill payment for flood victims in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

This initiative is part of the Bantuan Selangor Bangkit Programme (BSB) which was announced by the Selangor government recently.

“Affected customers do not have to make any payment for the services during the period even though the bill is issued to them,” the company said in a statement yesterday, adding that the victims involved are already automatically identified.

Air Selangor also expressed sympathy with the plight of the victims and hoped that this assistance will help ease their burden.
