“These awards are also a tribute and appreciation of the tireless collective efforts of all ProtectHealth employees and partners through Peduli Kesihatan for the B40 Group (Peka B40) and the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NCIP).

The fight against the pandemic is not over and ProtectHealth will continue to assist the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the government for any national health agenda,” he added.

ProtectHealth has been voted the Outstanding Covid-19 Vaccination Delivery of the Year at the GlobalHealth Asia Pacific Awards 2021 organised by GlobalHealth and Travel.

Meanwhile, ProtectHealth CEO received the Asia Pacific Outstanding Business Leader Lifetime Achievement Award at the Asia Pacific Outstanding Business Leader Achievement Awards by The KSI Strategic Institute for the Asia Pacific which is one of the region’s leading private independent think tanks established in providing strategic advisory, high-level executive briefings, international conferences, policy roundtables and national summits.

Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia president Datuk Dr Kuljit Singh said that ProtectHealth has played a pivotal role during the pandemic with precise and timely management of the vaccine rollout, particularly to the private healthcare sector.

“Their efforts made private vaccination easier as private hospitals had committed to assist the government in the NCIP. We hope this exercise on vaccination now sets a stage for ProtectHealth to embark on other public-private partnership programmes with the MoH and private healthcare,” he said in a separate statement.

Incorporated on Dec 19, 2016, ProtectHealth, is a wholly owned subsidiary of ProtectHealth Malaysia, established under the MoH.
