No default notice yet, Serba Dinamik says

SERBA Dinamik Holdings Bhd said its group of companies have yet to receive any notice of default in respect of the outstanding US$222 million (RM936.84 million) sukuk. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said it will update from time to time should there be any new development. The company said this in response to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd’s query letter on Dec 10, 2021, and the news article by The Edge titled “Serba Dinamik subsidiary defaults on bond coupon payment”.

Ramssol inks marketing deal with Elmu V

RAMSSOL Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, RAMS Solutions Sdn Bhd (RAMS), has entered into a two-year agreement with Elmu V Sdn Bhd to exclusively market training courses conducted by Elmu Education Group Sdn Bhd (EEG) and the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy. RAMS will pay RM1.5 million to Elmu V, which is a subsidiary of EEG, for the marketing rights for the courses on legal framework, corporate liability, corruption risk management and organisational anti-corruption plan course, Ramssol said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. — Bernama

Bursa Malaysia completes dematerialisation of POC

BURSA Malaysia Bhd completed its dematerialisation proof-of-concept (POC) with technology partners Digital Asset Holdings LLC and VMware Inc at the end of November. Conducted together with industry collaborators, Macquarie Capital Securities (M) Sdn Bhd and Maybank Investment Bank Bhd, Bursa Malaysia said this blockchain-powered POC was undertaken to evaluate the potential of distributed ledger technology to transform a dematerialised deposit process and explore its potential benefits to the securities ecosystem in the Malaysian capital market. — Bernama

Ni Hsin launches EV bikes

NI HSIN Group Bhd’s subsidiary, BlackBixon2Go Sdn Bhd, launched the BB2GO EV Coffee Bike for use in the sale of BlackBixon coffee. These electric bikes are powered by a battery system specially configured to also provide the power for the coffee-making machine and is an extension of Ni Hsin’s [email protected] anywhere concept under its food and beverage business, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. The bikes are equipped with GPS for easy tracking of orders and locations of BB2GO EV Coffee Bikes by coffee lovers using the BB2GO app. BlackBixon2Go also signed a memorandum of understanding with Acasia Communications Sdn Bhd to digitalise the new business concept through its connectivity and cloud services, supporting the BB2GO app.
