THE Cabinet has yet to decide on RM100 million worth of gift in terms of land or house to former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak.

Finance minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz admitted that the application on the gift has been made and it is still being deliberated.

“The item (for the gift) is not a part of the Budget 2022 item. The application was made after the Budget was tabled,” Tengku Zafrul told Dewam Rakyat.

He said this in response to a query by Langkawi MP Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad whether the gift is part of the Budget 2022 and why it was not being tabled to Parliament.
