Arman Azha sworn in as senator

KUALA LUMPUR – UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Arman Azha Abu Hanifah (picture) was sworn in as senator before Senate President Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim at the Dewan Negara today.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has consented to his appointment to take effect from today until Oct 25, 2024.

Arman Azha, 46, who holds a master’s degree in political science from the Geomatika University College, Kuala Lumpur is the director of Asia Coding Centre Sdn Bhd.

Speaking to reporters after the ceremony, Arman Azha described his appointment as an opportunity for young leaders to take part in debating national policies.
