Techna-X to develop largest revenue system in Kenya

TECHNA-X Bhd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Touchpoint International Sdn Bhd, has secured a five-year exclusive technology partnership agreement with Pesapass Ltd, a company incorporated in Kenya, to licence TPI’s revenue management system (RMS) for Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and all of its 65 national parks and reserves. In a statement yesterday, the company said the RMS developed for KWS will be known as the Safaripay Platform and will be implemented across all of its managed parks which receive over two million visitors per year. The combined ticketing revenue for all the parks managed by KWS are valued up to RM500 million annually in a regular pre-Covid-19 pandemic year.

Goodhart Land to sell 2 properties

GOODHART Land Sdn Bhd has entered into two sales and purchase agreements with Gan Poh Geok for the disposal of properties totalling RM6 million. Both properties are freehold land located in Pekan Kinrara, Selangor spanning 669 sq m. Gan is the daughter of Datuk Gan Kim Huat who is the executive chairman and MD of SKP Resources Bhd.

RHB Bank dissolves RHB Research Institute S’pore

RHB Bank Bhd has announced the dissolution of its wholly owned subsidiary, RHB Research Institute Singapore Pte Ltd (RHBRIS) after its final general meeting. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday the bank said the RHBRIS issued and paid-up share capital is S$175,000 (RM729,750) and the liquidator’s statement of accounts on winding up will be lodged with the accounting and corporate regulatory authority and the official receiver to wind up RHBRIS.

ASNB launches e-KYC

AMANAH Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), the wholly owned unit trust management company of Permodalan Nasional Bhd, has launched its mobile registration and onboarding feature (e-KYC), as well as a new goal-based investing function in the myASNB mobile application. The new mobile onboarding feature allows Malaysians to open accounts via the myASNB app without having to visit ASNB branches or its agents. While the existing ASNB customers can set up their myASNB portal and mobile app accounts, or update their personal details directly through their myASNB accounts.

YB Ventures to undertake private placement

YB VENTURES Bhd has proposed to undertake a private placement of up to 20% of its total number of issued shares to raise between RM21.1 million and RM145.9 million for the installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic system at its factory building and warehouse in Kulai Johor Baru.
