MAXIS is expanding its cloud offering with the newly launched “Right Cloud” which was designed to liberate enterprises from the complexities of cloud adoption.

Its enterprise practices head Claire Featherstone said the new proposition is built on the mix of three key elements, namely the Right Cloud, Right Expertise and Right Network.

“Combining these concepts, we are able to support enterprises with a holistic cloud transformation journey from design to implementation, so they can focus on driving business outcomes,” she said at Right Cloud’s virtual launch yesterday.

The new offering comes with a cloud-agnostic management platform which gives users more visibility, insights and control over their cloud resources, including workloads hosted by prominent public cloud providers.

With this, businesses may innovate their digital resources efficiently through Maxis’ simplified cloud management platforms while meeting the current challenges irrespective of business industry.

“The cloud brings advantages to users such as better integration and efficiency, improved business agility and time to market, new business models’ lower cost and predictability, operational resilience and security, as well as scalability and innovation,” she said.

Additionally, Maxis also offers an end-to-end professional and managed cloud services from strategy and advisory, migration and optimisation, security and application modernisation to managed support.

Maxis noted that this proposition will reinforce its capabilities as an end-to-end cloud service provider as well as align with the company goal to accelerate the cloud adoption in the country.

With expertise being one of the key focuses, Maxis offers a vast pool of technical specialists who are fully qualified and certified by AWS and Microsoft, allowing them to expedite adoption.

Currently Maxis offers Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Backup as a Service, Data Centre Services, Data Centre and Cloud Connect.

“Customers may access Maxis’ cloud solutions via Maxis Programmable Network, Malaysia’s first programmable software-defined network which is Metro Ethernet Forum 3.0 certified,” it said.
