MALAYSIA continues to report more than 21,000 Covid-19 cases, as 21,468 were detected as of noon today.
Yesterday, the country reached a record high of 21,668.
Selangor still topped the number of daily new cases with 7,449, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 2,183, Kedah (1,807), Sabah (1,654) and Johor (1,485).
However, more states in the Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) continued to detect high number of infections.
This is evident with the number of cases detected in Pulau Pinang (1,316), Kelantan (1,088) Perak (940) Melaka (723) and Sarawak (715).
Perlis, which is in the Phase 3 of the NRP reported the highest jump with 50 cases today.
Only Labuan identified a single digit cases, at six. –TMR
