THE National Higher Education Fund Corp (PTPTN) continues to strengthen its services via e-JanjiTemu, an online facility which allows customers to make an appointment in advance to deal with PTPTN officers at the state office counter or the nearest branch.
In a recent statement, PTPTN said customers can deal easily and safely through e-JanjiTemu during this pandemic as it complies with the Public Service Department guidelines for office operation during the Movement Control Order (MCO) and in line with the implementation of the National Recovery Plan.
The facility was introduced to help customers who have important matters that require face-to-face services of PTPTN officers as it cannot be implemented online.
Among the matters allowed to be dealt with include loan structuring negotiations, National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) nominee registration, application for deferment in the event that customers are still studying, submission of employer’s salary deduction check or treasurer’s check (loan or savings), sending of SSPN forms and direct debit cancellation.
The facility has been operating since last month to which customers only need to browse PTPTN’s official portal, www.ptptn.gov.my, then click on e-Services and complete the appointment information, personal information and make confirmation.
Booking slips will be issued for customers to print, download or screenshot to be submitted at selected PTPTN counters.
Customers are required to make an appointment via the e-JanjiTemu at least one day before the preferred date.
If the customer is unable to come at the appointed date and time, the appointment will be cancelled and a new one must be made.
Additionally, PTPTN also provides other service channels, namely e-Complaints through its official portal or customers can contact PTPTN customer service officers and marketing executives nationwide via the telephone number displayed at https://www.ptptn.gov.my/hubungi-ptptn.
PTPTN’s live chat service on its portal and careline is also available every Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
“As the country is still struggling against Covid-19 with increasing daily cases, customers need to ensure that compliance with established guidelines is fully practiced such as physical distancing, wearing face masks, being present for the appointment (representatives are not allowed) so that counter dealings will be done in a short time.
“Customers who have made an appointment but are from an area where the Enhanced MCO (EMCO) is being enforced are not allowed to deal, and permission from the authorities must be obtained if they live outside the area,” it added.
