ONE VR Malaysia has launched a three-dimensional (3D) shopping mall experience called VI-Mall which allows shoppers to navigate through a simulated shopping mall environment. This new platform enables consumers to walk through a mall, visit shops, examine products and make purchases.
According to One VR Malaysia CEO Jayden Lee, this is a one-of-a-kind experience which makes online shopping more enjoyable and more engaging for them.
“Shoppers can also interact with fellow-shoppers via the social chat feature available in VI-Mall. Entertainment will be one of the key features in VI-Mall, the long-awaited cinema which is set to be opened virtually in VI-Mall,” he said.
“We believe that the next big thing in retail will be the use of virtual reality (VR) to give consumers the opportunity to virtually shop from the comfort of their home, while providing them with an ultra-realistic retail experience.
“People will be amazed at how realistic shopping inside a virtual store is,” he explained.
Since One VR Malaysia has been in the market since 2017, it believes that VR technology has a lot of advantages to be incorporated into businesses and retail industry.
“This can do wonders for conversion rates. VR is also a social media goldmine which proves fantastic for brand awareness. It is an experience and a share-worthy one that gets customers talking about you and sharing their experiences on social media,” Lee added.
Consumers are able to embrace a better perspective of the product of interest with the help of a 360° product view.
