MALAYSIA’s new Covid-19 cases have reached another record high of 13,215, within 24 hours after reporting 11,618 cases yesterday.

Selangor continued to identify the most positive cases with 6,120, while Negeri Sembilan saw its new cases climb to 1,603. Kuala Lumpur recorded 1,499 new infections.

Kedah too, reported an increase in positive Covid cases with 695, followed by Johor with 599.

Only Terengganu, Labuan and Putrajaya reported two-digit infections while Perlis only reported three new cases.

Malaysia has now a total of 880,782 positive cases, since the pandemic broke in January last year.
