MALAYSIA broke its daily Covid-19 cases with 11,681, just a day after reaching 11,079 cases.
There are now 867, 567 confirmed Covid cases in the country.
Selangor reported above 5,000 cases for two consecutive days with 5,051 while Kuala Lumpur saw its new cases reach new high with 1,749.
Negeri Sembilan also saw its positive cases on the rise with 1,537 while Melaka with 526 cases and Kedah with 504.
Pahang also reported 400 new cases and Johor with 396 new cases.
118 new deaths were reported, pushing the number of total fatalities to 6,503.
Bernama reported yesterday two million doses of Covid-19 vaccine expected to arrive at the end of this month will be distributed in the Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan for use starting early August.
