RIYADH – Saudi Arabia Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, who is also the Chairman of Haj Higher Committee, approved the general security plan related to the forthcoming Haj of the year 1442H, in accordance with the precautionary measures and preventive procedures taken to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the plan falls in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince, indicating their unremitting follow up of the Haj and all aspects related to perform the rituals, in a way that would maintain the security and safety of pilgrims.
