ALIBABA Cloud and Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad (SDEC) announces partnership to digitalise Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sarawak to propel the state toward a better digital economy.
The collaboration looks into leveraging the Alibaba Cloud service, especially on the advanced features like elastic computing, big data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to maximise business agility and cost efficiency.
SMEs that currently use SDEC’s cloud platform SDeCloud will be able to choose solutions and products provided by Alibaba Cloud.
“SDEC’s vision is to accelerate economic prosperity through digitalisation. As a state link company, we need to synergise our efforts with all stakeholders towards accelerating the adoption of digitalisation amongst local SME’,” Sudarnoto Osman, CEO of SDEC said.
Alibaba Cloud is chosen as a trusted partner of SDEC considering its robust and comprehensive cloud infrastructure will enhance SMEs digitalisation journey.
This partnership is in line with (Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint) plan which aims to make the country a high-value-added economy and a net exporter of home-grown innovations and digital solutions by the end of the decade.
