Durex and the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) postpone their first virtual run collaboration to June 30 until July 30 this year.
The decision was made to ensure the SOPs outlined by the government are followed and bearing in mind the safety of all participants and parties involved, the organisations said in a statement today.
The virtual run is organised in conjunction with the International AIDS Memorial Day.
The first-ever virtual run organised by MAF with the slogan, “Always in Our Hearts”, is aimed to sustain funds for the Treatment, Care and Support programmes for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Malaysia.
The overall programme is aimed at raising funds to expand the Paediatric AIDS Fund (PAF) that is tailor-made according to the Sustainability Development Goals set by the United Nations. MAF is committed to support the main Goals which are Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 3: Good Well-Being and Health and Goal 4: Quality Education.
The event has received nationwide support from various Malaysian corporate partners including RB Health (M) Sdn. Bhd. as the title sponsor and Vale in Malaysia as the event’s Diamond sponsors.
