The Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) has been extended by two weeks from June 15 to 28, 2021.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the decision was made based on the numbers of daily Covid-19 cases which are still high, on average exceeding the 5,000 mark.
“The positive/negative list and standard operating procedure (SOP) for all factory, business and industry activities will remain as announced before,” Ismail Sabri said in a statement today.
The said list can be found on the official portals of relevant ministries as well as www.mkn.gov.my.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri also announced that the Enhanced MCO (EMCO) will be enforced on the Universiti Utara Malaysia campus in Sintok, Kedah; and Kampung Kadazan, Kampung Lobou 1, Kampung Bukit Permai and Taman Villa Felca Nambazan in Sabah from June 13 till 26.
On the other hand, EMCO in several areas will end this weekend.
They are several localities in Kuala Terengganu; Taman Pertama, Taman Serendah and Taman Prima in Sabak Bernam, Selangor; longhouses in Mukah, Sarawak; Taman Sinar Harapan in Tampoi, Johor; and three localities in Tawau, Sabah.
On SOP compliance, 828 individuals were detained yesterday for violation including not wearing face masks (162), not providing details upon entering premises (150), crossing district and state borders, and eating inside premises (134), and not observing social distancing (103), among others.
