Datasonic secures contract worth RM39.8m

DATASONIC Group Bhd received and accepted a letter of award from the Home Affairs Ministry for the comprehensive maintenance services of card personalisation centres at the National Registration Department worth RM39.8 million for 24 months commencing from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2023. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said the contract is expected to provide earnings visibility for the next two years for Datasonic.

Yenher, RHB IB sign IPO underwriting agreement

YENHER Holdings Bhd signed an underwriting agreement with RHB Investment Bank Bhd (RHB IB) the sole principal advisor, sole underwriter and sole placement agent for Yenher’s IPO in conjunction with Yenher’s listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. The IPO entails a public issue of 64.4 million new ordinary shares, of which RHB IB will underwrite 30 million shares comprising those made available for application by the Malaysian public and those allocated to eligible directors, employees and persons who have contributed to the success of Yenher Group.

Wasco Engineering secures RM162.45m O&G contract

WAH Seong Corp Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Wasco Engineering International Ltd, secured a contract from BW Energy Gabon SA worth RM162.45 million. The project is for a supply of oil and gas (O&G) processing and compression modules for a project in Gabon, Africa, and will involve complete engineering, procurement, construction and installation of O&G processing and compression modules and skid units, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. The duration of the project is estimated to be thirteen months and it is performed within Wah Seong’s engineering division.

Petronas Carigali extends contract with Handal

HANDAL Energy Bhd received a letter of contract extension and amendment from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd. In an exchange filing, Handal Energy said the contract was won via its 51%-owned Borneo Seaoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd and involves engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, inspection and maintenance works of Pig Trap System for Petronas Carigali. Handal Energy said the contract extension will be for a duration of one year and will commence on July 23, 2021 until July 22, 2022.
