LESS than a year since their first ScaleUp Endeavor Program, Endeavor is now on the lookout for entrepreneurs to join their second edition of this structured programme.
Aimed at supercharging the growth of high potential, late stage startups, selected companies will participate in a non-dilutive structured programme of 6+18 months, designed to guide entrepreneurs through the complexities of scaling a business.
A total of 20 entrepreneurs will be selected, and each will receive a fixed mentor to journey with them. Throughout the programme, they will also participate in a series of workshops adapted to their needs and challenges.
This year’s programme includes a new addition known as the Road-to-Market programme. Entrepreneurs will get to showcase their product and services to affiliated companies within the Endeavor Malaysia network. These organisations have volunteered themselves to test, adopt and potentially be long-term paying customers of these scaleup companies.
Among the high-calibre individuals supporting this exciting programme are Endeavor board member Lim Chern Yuan (Group CEO of Yinson), Endeavor mentors, Mac Chung Lynn (Director & Group CEO of Nando’s) and Sharil Tarmizi (Senior Advisor at ASEAN Advisory) as well as Endeavor Entrepreneur, Leow Wee Jonn (CEO of Photobook Worldwide).
Lim Chern Yuan has stated that they plan to double the revenue growth and hit a cumulative fundraising amount of USD 30 million (RM124 million) amongst the cadre of 20 selected startups for this programme.
“The ScaleUp Program is not an ordinary accelerator programme, it is a highly customised programme consisting of monthly workshops which focuses expressly on Business Strategy, Market Access and Scaling, Digitalization, Human Resources and Fundraising. These sessions will be conducted by specific mentors within the Endeavor network who specialise in and possess an abundance of domain knowledge and expertise within their respective industries.
“The committee has taken ownership to create a programme that is of, by and for entrepreneurs! We hope that successful companies from this programme will subsequently be further supported with our existing Endeavor Entrepreneur track that focuses on growing large, high growth companies,” said the Group CEO of Yinson.
To be eligible for this programme, entrepreneurs should be leading scalable and innovative Malaysian-based businesses with more than US$486,027 (RM2 million) in revenues. Plus, they must demonstrate at least an average of 20% YoY revenue growth.
Entrepreneurs who dream big and are looking to scale up their business quickly are encouraged to participate.
