MBPJ launches Community Sustainability Grant 3.0

PETALING Jaya City Council (MBPJ) has officially launched the PJ Community Sustainability Grant 3.0 or also known as PJ SEED for Sustainability 3.0 for 2021.

It is MBPJ’s initiative to invite organisations among the communities to plan and implement projects or initiatives that will assist the council to improve its performance in 10 predefined areas.

The areas are Smart City and Digital Economy, Green City and Green Economy, Circular Economy and 3R (reduce, reuse, and recycle), Low Carbon City, Bandar Selamat (safe city), Child Friendly City, Learning City, Transportation and Sustainable Infrastructure, Universal Design and Society 5.0.

The grant is aimed at providing financial assistance to the community to recommend and implement initiatives that will help improve the council’s programmes, strategies and direction in the aforementioned areas.

Those interested in helping improve MBPJ’s performance in sustainability development of PJ, especially in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030, are welcome to submit applications which can be done until Aug 30, 2021.

Application forms and guides can be downloaded from the council’s official website www.mbpj.gov.my or those who are interested may get it at the Solid Waste Management Department and MBPJ Public Cleaning counters located on the 20th Floor, MBPJ Tower in PJ, Selangor.
