CELCOM Axiata Bhd has launched Celcom MAX, a one-stop store for all home and mobile Internet needs to maximise its customers’ digital lifestyle.
The package combines a Celcom Home Fibre unlimited high-speed Internet plan with the Celcom MEGA RM80 postpaid plan into a standalone plan and single bill.
Customers will be saving RM21 per month for the services offered from both a Celcom Home Fibre plan and MEGA RM80.
The services include an unlimited high-speed Internet, unlimited calls on mobile plans and 40GB for postpaid. The Celcom Home Fibre plan comes with three options: 100Mbps, 300Mbps or 500Mbps.
The first 100 customers who sign up any Celcom MAX package (100Mbps plan or higher) from April 6 to April 9 will get a one-month bill waiver.
Subscribers will also enjoy maximum offerings such as lifetime monthly rebates, savings for the latest productivity and entertainment devices, and access to more entertainment contents.
An additional Celcom Mesh WiFi is priced at RM25 per pair for 24 months.
This technology expands customers’ home WiFi and cover areas with weak WiFi connection. Hence, reduces weak spots and dead zones.
Customers who stay in households that frequently utilise Internet across multiple devices simultaneously can opt for Celcom MAX 500Mbps, Celcom’s Home Fibre (RM179) and Celcom MEGA (RM80) postpaid plan for only RM259 per month.
This package includes a pair of free Mesh WiFi units and unlimited access to entertainment contents from iQIYI or iflix for six months.
Celcom MAX also offers new customers with discounts of up to 50% on devices to drive Malaysians to be digitally adept and well-equipped within today’s ecosystem.
By subscribing to any Celcom MAX’s plans, customers could receive a 60-inch Sharp TV, Microsoft Surface Pro X 256GB LTE or Surface Go 2 128GB LTE.
Celcom CEO Idham Nawawi believed more Malaysians are engaging within today’s digital ecosystem which is rapidly evolving people’s lifestyles.
He said the Internet has become important in most of our daily activities and lifestyles whether at home or outside.
“Celcom MAX is a one-stop home and mobile solution specially designed to meet the needs of our customers.
“Malaysians can maximise their unique digital lifestyles by attending online meetings, classes, stream entertainment videos, play games online or browse for the latest news from around the world,” he said.
To cater to its customers’ varying budgets, Celcom has provided different affordable packages and plans.
“Our customers can continue to remain indoors and stay safe, while being productive or entertained,” Idham said.
Celcom chief emerging business officer T Kugan said there is an increase of 50% in data traffic while an average Celcom customer uses about 21 gig per month, which is a tremendous 40% growth year-on-year.
He said convergence is still nascent in Malaysia where its penetration is only about 10%.
