KUALA LUMPUR – Aspirasi, a digital micro-financing and micro-insurance service provider under Axiata Digital, has introduced Aspirasi CashNow that offers simplified access to digital financing for shoppers on Lazada Malaysia.

In a joint statement today, it said consumers, who choose to apply for Aspirasi CashNow, would receive funds credited into their Lazada Wallet, along with convenient and affordable monthly installments.

“Aspirasi CashNow is Shariah-compliant and financing amounts start from RM500 up to RM2,500, with a low-profit rate,” it said, adding that shoppers could click on Lazada website or app to apply before going through a quick and easy three-minute application journey on Aspirasi.

Aspirasi CashNow is open for application by all Malaysians aged 18 to 65 years with an active Lazada Wallet account.

Aspirasi executive director Sheyantha Abeykoon said the introduction of Aspirasi CashNow was an expansion of digital financial services to improve Lazada customers’ connectivity infrastructure with greater digital payment access.

Lazada Malaysia chief business officer Sherry Tan said the new access would provide shoppers with a variety of payment options and flexible payment alternatives as part of the seamless shopping experience they have come to expect from Lazada.
