After 14 eventful years, the eCurve shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, will undergo redevelopment to evolve, rejuvenate and return stronger.
Boustead Properties Bhd (BPB), which operates the mall through subsidiary Damansara Entertainment Centre Sdn Bhd, said the redevelopment is aligned with the group-wide’s aspiration of ‘Reinventing Boustead’.
In a statement, the company said the move is timely and will see eCurve adapting to how societies, lifestyles and technologies are changing.
“Through the urban rejuvenation, we envision an enhanced generational livability surrounding Mutiara Damansara, with a thriving communities and ecosystem stemming from the unleashed offerings under the redevelopment,” said BPB, which is the master developer of the Mutiara Damansara township.
However, the redevelopment plan does not involve its main shopping centre, the Curve, which will continue to operate as usual, it said.
Outlets at eCurve will remain open until the end of March 2021, BPB said.
“BPB has taken proactive steps in engaging current tenants and relocating selected tenants to the Curve to bring the same joy and experience that are synonymous to the brand,” it added.
