He said the localities were namely Felda Triang 3, in Bera, Pahang and Kampung Teluk in Setiawan, Perak.
The minister added that in Felda Triang 3, which is under an EMCO scheduled to end on March 3, the Ministry of Health (MoH) has confirmed that the situation is showing a downward trend and there are no swab test samples pending.
“After making various joint risk assessments agencies in the technical committee and on the advice of MoH, the government has agreed to end the EMCO tomorrow which is earlier than the scheduled date,” he said in a press conference today.
Meanwhile, in the area of Kampung Teluk, the MoH had screened a total of 131 individuals and 26 Covid-19 positive cases were detected to date.
Ismail Sabri noted that the ministry has confirmed that there have been no positive cases reported since Feb 17. Following this, the government has agreed to lift the EMCO on Feb 24 as scheduled.
