Chinese New Year is upon us and while there are reasons to feast, we have also quickly needed to adapt to the new norm of staying home for reunion dinners this time around due to the pandemic.
The Westin Kuala Lumpur said as Chinese New Year revolves around five blessings, namely longevity, prosperity, peace, wisdom, and virtue, the hotel will offer a delectable array of dishes available for people who are looking for a hassle-free meal.
Giving priority to safety first, the hotel will be offering a selection of fresh Yee Sang and alluring festive ala carte’ dishes until Feb 26, 2021, either for takeaway or deliveries.
Unity Chinese New Year Specialities Yee Sang
Westin KL will prepare a prosperous and symbolic offering of Yee Sang for a celebration at home, starting from RM98 net per serving.
“The special Lou Sang will offer four types of healthy and fresh selections from Norwegian Fresh Salmon Yee Sang and Sliced Two Head Abalone Yee Sang with Jelly Fish to a combination of Slices Top Shell Abalone and Jelly Fish Yee Sang and Baby Abalone Yee Sang with Jelly Fish,” Westin KL said.
Set Menus with Complimentary House Red or White Wine bottle
Some of the festive indulgences not to be missed includethe Double Boiled Premium Herbal Chicken Broth and Steamed Red Mullet with Ginger and Fungus, guaranteed to warm the palate.
The Longevity Reunion Chinese New Year Set Menu serves six persons and is available at RM888 while Poon Choi serves eight persons at RM1288.
“For those looking for an addition to the traditional dishes to be savoured, there will also be Western platters, consisting of cheese with crackers or fruits at RM158 and RM198 respectively,” the hotel said.
Meanwhile, Westin KL also said orders above RM150 will be entitled to a 20% discount for pickups while deliveries up to 8km will be charged RM10.
