IN CONJUNCTION with the Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration, the National Higher Education Fund Corp (PTPTN) is offering RM88,888 worth of “Ang Pow” to 88 winners through its “Gong Xi Ang Pow SSPN 2021” campaign.

The campaign was launched yesterday on PTPTN’s official Facebook page with the theme “Gong Xi Save & Safe” and is open to all National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) depositors, namely SSPN-i and SSPN-i Plus.

SSPN depositors who participate in the campaign will not only have the opportunity to win lucrative rewards, but at the same time, enjoy various SSPN privileges such as competitive dividends, takaful protection and income tax assessment relief of up to RM8,000 per year.

In a statement, PTPTN chairman Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan said the campaign is a sign of PTPTN’s appreciation to those who continue to support SSPN.

“Although the spread of Covid-19 has had a significant impact on the world and local financial and financial markets, the trust and support of depositors remain intact to continue to save in SSPN.

“In conjunction with CNY, which will be celebrated soon, I represent PTPTN in wishing Gong Xi Fa Cai to all Malaysians. I am confident and believe in the spirit of unity, the joy of this festival is also felt by various levels of society of various races in this country,” he added.

PTPTN CEO Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said parents who have not yet opened an account should seize this golden opportunity.

“SSPN can be opened for children as early as one day of age. For those who have saved, keep saving. Your investment is small, but it means a lot to them.

“Open an account or add a deposit during the promotion period and you are automatically eligible to participate in the campaign’s draw,” he said.

The campaign promotion period runs for a month from Feb 8 to March 8. With net savings as low as RM100 during the campaign period, depositors will be eligible for one draw.
