AMBANK Islamic Bhd recently launched the AmRewards campaign with the aim of providing more value to its customers who save using the AmWafeeq Savings Account-i (AmWafeeq-i).
AmBank group CEO Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir (picture) said the campaign, which runs from Jan 1 to Aug 31, 2021, is also part of the bank’s efforts to reward its loyal customers who have remained with the bank even after a difficult 2020.
He said the campaign is also aimed at attracting new clients.
“We want to encourage and provide the avenue for our customers to save in a more value-adding manner.
“So, we hope the campaign would inspire our customers that tough times don’t last, while smart savings in AmWafeeq-i may reward them with cash prizes to tide them over until the tough times subside,” he said.
The campaign will see a grand prize worth RM240,000 paid as a 12-month instalment of RM20,000 each.
Sulaiman said customers with higher balances in the AmWafeeq-i account will be entitled to more entries, increasing the chances of winning cash prizes.
“Five entry points will also be rewarded to the existing customers of AmWafeeq-i with a minimum month-end balance of RM500 as at December 2020,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sulaiman said there will be more contests and promotional campaigns in the pipeline that are curated to reward customers for their continuous support in the bank’s products and services.
