Ho Wah Genting to make in-vitro diagnostic products

HO WAH Genting Bhd (HWG) has signed a memorandum of collaboration with Chong- qing Isia Bio-Technology Co Ltd (Isia) to manufacture and produce in-vitro diagnostic products. HWG intends to carry out market research on the in-vitro diagnostic products while finalising them to be manufactured, for initial target markets of Indonesia and Malaysia. The company will enter into a definitive agreement incorporating more details and will update on the matter accordingly, it stated in an exchange filing yesterday.

Chin Hin buys office lots for RM21m

CHIN Hin Group Bhd’s 51%-owned unit, BK Alliance Sdn Bhd, has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Suez Domain Sdn Bhd to acquire office lots in Kuala Lumpur for RM20.9 million cash. The plot is meant to house a service apartment development, Chin Hin noted in its exchange filing yesterday.

AEM expects to profit from EPCC business

AE MULTI Holdings Bhd’s (AEM) wholly-owned subsidiary, AE Multi Industries Sdn Bhd, has won a turnkey glove-manufacturing factory contract from PNE Glove Sdn Bhd. The group expects the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) segment to deliver a significant orderbook in the financial year of 2021, allow- ing AEM to leap back into profitability follow- ing losses for the last three financial years since 2017, its filing stated.

Dayang gets job extension from Sarawak Shell

DAYANG Enterprise Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, DESB Marine Services Sdn Bhd, has secured a contract extension from Sarawak Shell Bhd (SSB) for the provision of an accommodation workboat for offshore support vessel services related to Petronas Petroleum Arrangement Contractors’ activities. The value of the contract is based on work orders issued by SSB throughout the extended contract duration effective from March 20, 2021 until March 19, 2022.

HeiTech bags LHDN project worth RM35.2m

HEITECH Padu Bhd has signed a letter of award for renewal of CA Gen (TSO) and reported composer system licence mainframe for the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) valued at RM35.2 million. In a bourse filing yesterday, the company said the contract is for a period of three years commencing from Feb 1, 2021 to Jan 31, 2024. The contract is expected to have positive effects on future earnings and earnings per share of the company.
