MACHANG MP Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakob announced that he has withdrawn support from Perikatan Nasional government led by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Ahmad Jazlan announced his decision in a press conference at Umno Kelantan headquarters in Kota Baru, Kelantan today.
“I hereby announce that I am withdrawing my support from the PN government led by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, effective today,” he said.
On January 4, Ahmad Jazlan had also tendered his resignation as the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) chairman as a sign of protest of the PN government.
Prior to this, another state Umno leader, Tengku Tan Sri Razaleigh Hamzah revealed he had sought for a no-confidence vote against Muhyiddin in September.
