Ecobuilt bags RM72m construction contract
ECOBUILT Holdings Bhd has secured a RM72.32 million construction contract in Sabah from VTS Property Builders Sdn Bhd. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary E&J Builders Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the main contractor to undertake construction works for the proposed amended approved development plan of 15-storey retail and commercial suites.
Trackwork and Supplies accepts MMC Gamuda contract for RM4m
AWC Bhd’s subsidiary, Trackwork and Supplies Sdn Bhd, have secured contract from MMC Gamuda for RM4 million to supply rail grinding services for the Mass Rapid Transit Line 2 (MRT2) Phase 1 Mainline: Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya. The contract is for the initial rail grinding for Phase 2 — ET Testing Section (Serdang Raya North Station V205 to Taman Putra Permai Station V208) and final rail grinding for Phase 1 — V201-V203 A, Spur Line and Migration Area. In a filing to the stock exchange yesterday, the company said the project which started on Dec 17, 2020, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2021.
Kimlun buys 2 plots of land worth RM41m
KIMLUN Corp Bhd’s subsidiary Kii Melodia Sdn Bhd has agreed to purchase two plots of freehold commercial land from Seri Alam Properties Sdn Bhd for RM40.5 million. In a filing to the stock exchange yesterday, Kimlun noted that the two plots of land in Bandar Seri Alam in Plentong, Johor Baru, will be commercially developed. The development will provide an opportunity for Kimlun to increase the size of its land bank in a strategic location in order to enhance its future revenue and earnings.
ATA IMS, Minho temporarily shuts down factories’ operations
ATA IMS Bhd has temporary shutdown all of the group’s factories in Johor Baru from Dec 31, 2020, until tomorrow due to the high daily number of Covid-19 infections reported throughout the state recently. The group will resume operations on Jan 8. Meanwhile, Minho (M) Bhd, which also detected 21 Covid-19 cases in its subsidiary paper manufacturing, have temporarily halted operations for four days.
