HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd provided Teknion Furniture Systems (M) Sdn Bhd with an email payment link following the furniture company’s decision to move online and include a business-to-consumer model.
Teknion Furniture Systems decided to adopt digitalisation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, while also adhering to the Movement Control Order restrictions.
HSBC Malaysia provided Teknion Furniture Systems with Email Payment Link, an online Omni Collect solution customised to fulfil its specific requirements.
It is also HSBC Malaysia’s first Omni Collect solution that accepts payment options overseas.
With the solution being scalable and only requiring a simple set-up, customers can enjoy direct payment with only a few simple steps to link to Teknion Furniture Systems.
Commenting on this, Teknion Furniture Systems CFO Thomas Tan said the Email Payment Link is convenient and customisable.
“We are able to send the payment links directly to our customers via email in their preferred currency value. This has added greater flexibility and improved cashflow by giving our customers an easy way to pay,” he said in the same statement.
Since it can support unlimited email links, users can also opt to generate thousands of email invoices at one go via a bulk payment link.
The “Pay Now” button in emails enhances customer experience which will facilitate payment via online bank transfer, e-wallets and cards (domestic and international), as well as providing a personalised payment page to allow different invoice currencies while incorporating the Teknion logo and brand.
The solution will assist the furniture company in improving their cashflow, which in turns help their customers make payment quick and easy across the Asia-Pacific region.
Teknion Furniture Systems requires a simple, secure and quick solution without investing resources or development of a new system.
Meanwhile, HSBC Malaysia country head of global liquidity and cash management Shayan Hazir said the group is proud to support Teknion Furniture Systems in the adoption of digital services through their comprehensive array of digital offerings.
“This includes our digital platform HSBCnet, and now the Omni Collect solution which is basically a one-stop collection solution designed to simplify and streamline the way businesses collect payments,” he said.
HSBC Malaysia country head of international subsidiary banking Vishal Karanwal believes that they have assisted Teknion Furniture Systems with various financial solutions for its business endeavours throughout the decades thanks to their solid partnership since 1994.
“We continue to provide support during this Covid-19 pandemic to help the company weather the challenging circumstances,” he said.
