Panasonic extends facilities’ closure until Dec 27

Panasonic Manufacturing Malaysian Bhd extended its facilities closure until December 27 as its 116 employees were tested positive for Covid-19 in a recent testing.

The company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia said that the Petaling District Health office advised Panasonic to resume operations on December 28.

The company added there are no additional confirmed cases reported at this moment and the company is committed to adhere to all COVID-19 preventive standard operating procedures.
