THE appeal period for Prihatin Special Grant (GKP) 2.0 application will be opened from Dec 7 until Dec 21, according to Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz (picture).

In a statement issued today, the minister said the appeal was opened to provide an opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to submit their appeal together with the support of documents for the review and re-verification by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

He added that the appeal application can be made online at the GKP Portal, https://gkp.hasil.gov.my.

So far, around 850,000 micro SMEs have received GKP and GKP 2.0, with a total financial assistance of RM2.55 billion.
