JOHOR civil servants will special financial aid of half-month pay, or minimum of RM1,000, with the payment to be disbursed before end of the year.
The good news was announced by Menteri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad (picture), when tabling the 2021 state budget during the State Assembly sitting today.
“To the Johor state civil servants, who are the backbone of the state government’s administration, the state government has agreed to provide special financial assistance for the financial year 2020 to them.
“This special financial assistance will also be extended to all Al-Quran and Fardu Ain (KAFA) class teachers, staff of Community Rehabilitation Center (PDK) and Johor Islamic Kindergarten (TAJ) teachers,” he said.
Apart from the civil servants, Hasni said a one-off assistance would also be provided to various groups that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
next year’s budget would also focus on the welfare a agenda by providing ‘one-off’ assistance to various groups that would provide immediate relief in life, especially in dealing with COVID-19.
