Prasarana chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (picture) said the extension of the My30 travel pass, and bringing it to Rapid Penang and Rapid Kuantan highlights the government’s determination in helping Malaysians affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
“Prasarana viewed that encouraging Malaysians to use public transport is the most effective measure to increase productivity and stimulating economic growth as well as commercial activities, which are very critical at this time,” he said in a statement today.
He added that the Transport Ministry will deliberate the details before giving Prasarana the green light.
At Prasarana, he said the group will execute the initiative soonest.
