BURSA Malaysia Bhd has successfully conducted its first virtual listing ceremony with the listing of Samaiden Group Bhd (Samaiden) on the ACE Market this morning.

The virtual listing service is a new offering by the exchange, following the reinstatement of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

In a statement today, it said Samaiden – one of Malaysia’s leading consultants of renewable energy and environmental service provider – is the first company to utilise the virtual listing service offered by the exchange.

The virtual listing ceremony was held live on Bursa Marketplace Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/BursaMarketplace).

Replays of the virtual listing ceremony can also be viewed at www.bursamalaysia.com and the Bursa Marketplace Facebook page.

“We will continue to leverage on technology to adapt our traditions to the continuously changing environment, while always prioritising the health and safety of our stakeholders,” said Bursa Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Muhamad Umar Swift.

Meanwhile, the exchange expects to welcome four more listings this month, namely Southern Cable Group Bhd (Oct 16); Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd (Oct 20); Mr DIY Group (M) Bhd (Oct 26) and Econframe Bhd (Oct 27).
