All mosques and surau where Friday prayers are allowed to be held in the capital are advised to recite the ‘Qunut Nazilah’ during the prayers tomorrow (Oct 9)

Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department director Mohd Ajib Ismail said the special prayer was to ask Allah to spare the people in the capital, and the country at large, from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Imams are also encouraged to recite the qunut nazilah during the daily dawn prayers at their respective mosques and surau,” he said in a statement today.
