LKL International bags RM78.49m contract to supply nitrile gloves

LKL International Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary LKL Advance Metaltech Sdn Bhd had secured a sales contract worth US$18.96 million (RM78.49 million) to supply nitrile gloves to a China-based company, LKL exchange filing yesterday stated. 


MQ Tech to acquire 70% stake in Kibaru

MQ Technology Bhd has inked a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the shareholders of Kibaru Manufacturing Sdn Bhd to acquire a proposed 70% equity interest in the latter. Kibaru makes rubber and plastic medical products, MQ Tech’s exchange filing yesterday said.  


MGB accepts RM122.3m contract from Blee & W Architects

MGB Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary MGB Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a contract valued at RM122.3 million from Blee & W Architects Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of the proposed development project in Cybersouth, Selangor.The works include the construction of one block of 22-storey serviced apartment; one block of eight-storey building comprising facilities/amenities floors and podium car park; one guard house; and one refuse chamber. The contract is expected to commence on Feb 15, 2021 and complete on May 14, 2022.The group’s current outstanding order book is approximately RM1.61 billion. 


PropertyGuru Group receives additional RM913.26m funding

PropertyGuru Group has received an additional investment of S$300 million (RM913.26 million) in recent funding rounds by global investment firms TPG and KKR (via KKR Asian Fund III), it said in a statement yesterday.

The funds will accelerate the property technology company’s growth strategy across its key markets as it ramps up investment to meet the rapidly evolving needs in the property ecosystem.The continued support of TPG and KKR will see PropertyGuru further invest in identified strategic growth areas, including its mortgage marketplace, its end-to-end sales enablement solution for property developers, and data capabilities to empower property seekers across Southeast Asia.
