THE Education Ministry (MoE) through the Kuala Lumpur (KL) Federal Territory Education Department has collaborated with Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd’s NuMee Gardenia in launching a Covid-19 preventive measure campaign at selected schools.
Known as the #KitaJagaKita campaign, it aims to educate, as well as constantly reminding the students on the 3W and 3C practices, to keep their physical distance and maintain good hygiene habits for the safety of all.
3W consists of a reminder to frequently wash their hands with water and soap, wear face masks and always be warned by taking precautions in public places.
3C, on the other hand, reminds the public to avoid crowded places, confined places and close conversation.
Gardenia marketing manager Ena Suhaila Abas (picture) said as students spend most of their time in a day at school, the company understands that the students need to feel safe.
The five schools selected to participate in the campaign are SMK Bandar Baru Sentul, SMK (P) Air Panas, SMK Bandar Baru Ampang, Kolej Tingkatan 6 Pudu Jaya and SMK Seri Pantai.
To ensure that the students do not forget the do’s and don’ts during this pandemic season, NuMee Gardenia worked with each school by allocating preventive tools, put up “Kita Jaga Kita” reminders and signs, disinfecting compounds and distributing face masks to ensure its environment remains a safe place for everyone.
Apart from that, floor markings to indicate the one-metre distance are placed as guidelines while queuing.
According to Ena Suhaila, as a trusted brand by Malaysian households, it is part of NuMee Gardenia’s responsibility to ensure Malaysians stay safe and healthy.
“NuMee Gardenia truly appreciates the opportunity to be able to provide the students with a healthy yet delectable meal,” she added.
