Samsung unveils five new Galaxy devices

SAMSUNG Electronics Co. Ltd. has unveiled five devices, including the new Galaxy Note, that help customers maximise their work and play experience.

The devices are Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Tab S7 and S7+, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Z Fold2.

“Technology must make life easier, not more complex. That’s why we have introduced five new power devices, ” its president and head of mobile communication business TM Roh said in a statement.

The company hosted its first-ever unpacked virtual event of the new devices, live-streamed from South Korea last night.

The Galaxy Note20 comprises three models with prices ranging between RM3,899 and RM5,199, while two new Galaxy Watch3 models with the price tag between RM1,699 and RM1,799.

It said customers who pre-order both models will get a special pre-order reward at Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung authorised partners and Samsung Malaysia e-store available from today till August 20.

However, Tab S7 and S7+ will be available in the market on Aug 21 and details on Galaxy Z Fold2 will be announced in September.

Galaxy Note20 Ultra with a new S Pen is designed for Note fans who demand power and productivity, while Galaxy Note20 for broader Note users.

For the first time in the Note series, Galaxy Note20 Ultra offers a vivid and bright Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and 120Hz refresh rate delivering buttery smooth visuals on screen.

According to the company, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ have upgraded user experience to PC-level productivity with the improvement keyboard experience and an improved S Pen.

Meanwhile, Galaxy Watch3 is a next-generation companion for managing customers routine, fitness goals and taking ownership over their health with the blood oxygen feature and running analysis.

Its Galaxy Buds Live is combining AKG’s sound expertise with bigger and active noise cancellation.

Lastly, Galaxy Z Fold2 with the most requested upgrades and new features combines the portability and flexibility of a smartphone with the power and screen size of a tablet for ultimate productivity, it said.

“The Galaxy Z Fold2 comes packed with two edge-to-edge, nearly bezel-less infinity-o displays. the cover screen is 6.2-inches and the massive main screen is 7.6-inches, making them both larger than the galaxy fold,” it said.
