LAZADA Malaysia is gearing up for its “7.7 Mid-Year Super Sale” by expanding its “Guaranteed Delivery” feature nationwide.
In a statement released, the platform said the feature was previously only made available to shoppers within the Klang Valley which guarantees a timely and reliable LazMall delivery.
LazMall is the country’s leading virtual mall, boasting thousands of brands and authorised distributors, with nearly 300,000 products made available to customers across Malaysia.
Lazada Malaysia CEO Leo Chow said this feature also ensures that Lazada has the capacity to deliver. With an average of nearly 70% of last-mile deliveries fulfilled in-house, the platform is ready to manage peak-order volumes particularly for this sale season.
“This is in support of two other existing promises from LazMall, the ‘100% Authentic’ and ‘15 Day Returns’. Both assure shoppers of high-quality, genuine products that have a 15-day easy return policy,” he said.
According to Chow, shoppers can identify ”LazMall Guaranteed Delivery” products by two icons — “G” and “24’h”.
“‘G’ indicates shoppers will receive the items by the promised date, while ‘24h’ ensures deliveries are out the very next day. Customers will receive automatic compensation credited to their Lazada Wallet if it exceeds the promised delivery lead time, without the need to file a claim,” Chow said.
Meanwhile, CIMB Bank Bhd is also expected to offer up to 10% lower monthly instalment scheme for new home purchases at “Hi HOME Property Expo” on Lazada on July 7.
In a statement yesterday, Hi HOME dotCom Sdn Bhd CEO Radzi Tajuddin said the expo will showcase over 2,000 property units with a total value of RM1 billion.
Radzi said the collaboration with CIMB will allow the bank to offer homebuyers a reduction of monthly instalments by up to 10% compared to normal financing during the first five years.
Through this collaboration, buyers are entitled to own completed residential properties worth up to RM1.5 million.
“With FlexiOwn (by CIMB), purchasers could enjoy lower monthly instalments for the first five years.
“This would help purchasers have more cashflow especially during this challenging time, while giving them the freedom to own the home of their dreams,” Radzi said in the statement.
He added that during this upcoming campaign, purchasers can view numerous properties on Lazada through the Hi HOME flagship store, and they will only need to buy vouchers priced as low as RM88.
He said the vouchers act as a commitment voucher and can be used to redeem special deals and rebates from participating developers.
Radzi said CIMB will also offer RM200 cashback for qualified home purchasers who elect and accept CIMB as their end financier during this campaign period.
“Our main focus has always been to promote homeownership and one of the crucial components is financing.
“We are proud to have CIMB as the preferred bank during Hi HOME Property Expo via Lazada where we can offer the best deals on home financing. Consumers can expect to get a lower monthly payment for the first 5-year loan and cashback”, he added.
Recently, the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) was re-established under the short-term Economic Recovery Plan with an aim to stimulate the housing market and help homebuyers.
HOC was first introduced in 2019 to boost the sales of overhang properties. This year’s campaign is expected to carry the same set of benefits including stamp duty exemption on the Memorandum of Transfer, loan agreements and Real Property Gain Tax exemption for disposal of residential homes until Dec 31, 2021.
