THE government today decided to allow surau facility in shopping complexes and at rest and service (R&R) areas to reopen beginning tomorrow, said Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (picture).

He said reopening was subject to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and those wanting to perform prayers at these places must practice self-discipline and social distancing.

“The stalls at the R&R areas will also be allowed to resume operations,” he said in a press conference today.
