COVID-19: 15 Positive cases recorded, lowest since MCO began – Health DG

Malaysia’s efforts in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic continue to yield encouraging results when 15 new positive cases reported today, the lowest ever recorded since the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of COVID-19 positive cases currently stood at 7,619 with the total number of active cases was at 1,421.

“Please note that out of the 15 new cases reported today, six are imported cases. Of the nine cases of local transmission, four involve foreign nationals.

“Five other cases are local infection among Malaysians,” he told a daily press conference on the COVID-19 here today.
