SOLARVEST Holdings Bhd has secured a project worth RM29.2 million from NE Suria Satu Sdn Bhd (NESS) to instal solar photovoltaic (PV) panels for a global hypermarket chain in Malaysia.
NESS is a joint venture between Petronas Power SdnBhd and NEFIN Energy (M) Sdn Bhd formed to invest, undertake and deliver the solar PV initiative.
Under the agreement, Solarvest will undertake the full turnkey engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning works to instal solar PV panels for
Phase 1 of the project, it said in a statement yesterday.
This includes 15 designated stores with a cumulative capacity of approximately 10,614 kilowatt peaks located in Peninsular Malaysia.
The project will be completed within this year and is expected to positively contribute towards the group’s performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2021. It’s also the company’s largest rooftop project so far for its commercial and industrial segment, which constitutes about 90% of the firm’s total orderbook
