TENAGA Nasional Bhd (TNB) has taken proactive measures to prevent further spread of the Covid-19 via a thorough disinfection in its offices throughout the previous weekend.

TNB chief corporate officer Datuk Roslan Abdul Rahman said the action is in line with TNB’s concern for the health and safety of its employees and all stakeholders in the company’s offices.

“Preventing the spread is better than treating it, and with fears of spreading the virus, TNB wants all employees and visitors to feel confident in the safety and cleanliness of the utility company’s offices,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The company also noted that the process was carried out at all the buildings located at the TNB headquarters in Jalan Bangsar, Wisma TNB and all of the utility company’s branches.

The cleaning on door handles, counters, seats and payment kiosks are done three times a day.

The energy utility company has also implemented precautionary measures at all Kedai Tenaga nationwide by running temperature checks on officers and customers, while all counters that are operating will also be providing face masks and hand sanitisers for everyone.
