It’s a day when prices of roses, chocolate and perhaps strawberries would hit the ceiling, and a time when the more conservative lot would tell you that celebrating Valentine’s Day is a waste of time and energy.

This Valentine’s Day, the hotel invites couples to venture into the 10 million-year-old rainforest on the secluded Datai Bay by creating the “Rainforest Rendezvous” for the whole month of February.
Priced at RM2,000 nett, this romantic package features breakfast in bed, a four-course Romantic Set Dinner, as well as an Ocean Awakening Delight Package featuring a Kahuna Wave massage and healthy lunch for the couple.

The Perfect Union at St Regis Langkawi
Merging the perfect collaboration between taste and texture, as well as love and pleasure, the St Regis Langkawi will present a night to remember at the renowned Kayu Puti.
Couples will have the chance to savour dishes such as a tsarskaya oyster poached in bonito stock with white onion royale, sea grapes, rice crisp, dill-infused oil and a duo of wagyu striploin and braised short rib with white asparagus and Jerusalem artichokes.
Aiming to make the day extra special, the hotel has introduced the “Romance Package” where bookings will include breakfast for two, return airport transfers, an hour of couple spa and dinner at Kayu Puti with a welcome glass of wine, an invitation for champagne tasting and a departure gift.
Celebrate Love at The Westin KL
The Westin Kuala Lumpur (KL) invites couples to spend the day at the hotel’s selected venues and enjoy a spread of delectable and delicious meals.
The award-winning outlet honouring Italian cuisine, Prego, will present a Saint Valentine Set Menu, a five-course meal priced at RM388 nett per couple.
The Living Room, Westin’s all-day dining restaurant that sits beneath an opulent sunburst glass sculpture, will feature a Valentine Buffet Dinner at RM148, while the poolside restaurant, Splash, will have a special Valentine Set Dinner priced at RM388.
According to a statement by the hotel, some of the menu highlights will include a 52°C sous vide beef sirloin with truffle mash and natural jus at Prego; smoked duck with orange jam at The Living Room; and butternut squash veloute with green herb oil and crispy ravioli at Splash.
Sampling the Irresistible Love Menu at The Westin Langkawi Resort and Spa
Food lovers and enthusiasts will get to taste a gastronomic affair with the best steaks in town at the Tide Restaurant, with menu highlights including lobster bisque, grilled line-caught wild sea bass fillet with lemon butter sauce and mesclun leaf salad, grilled wagyu tenderloin with truffle pomme puree, as well as Herwig’s love and roses dessert plate.
Dine in Style with Le Meridien Putrajaya
For the couple who has an extra fondness for the taste of oriental food, the hotel’s contemporary Chinese restaurant, Le Mei, invites guests to try its curated pre-plated Chinese fine-dining fare, selected from the finest dishes on the menu while incorporating red roses and pralines.
Meanwhile, at its all-day dining outlet, Latest Recipe, couples can enjoy a candle-lit Valentine’s Day Dinner Buffet at RM168 or a fourcourse Western Set dinner at RM599.
Amore, Ti Amore at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu
Couples are invited to celebrate the renowned sunsets of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with Favola’s exquisite five-course set dinner menu, specially curated by Chef Gary Ekar.
Menu highlights include pasta aurora, lobster bisque, risotto alla milanese, porcini-crusted sous vide ribeye marble 7 and more.
Romance with a Sassy Twist at Aloft KL Sentral
A first-time for Aloft, its stylish bar, W XYZ will present a romantic four-course Valentine’s Day Dinner with a sassy, snazzy twist.
Those wanting a hearty, wholesome feast will definitely enjoy a red-hot feast for the senses at Nook, priced at RM128 per person.
Menu highlights will include a six-hour slow-cooked beef cheek and pan-seared barramundi at W XYZ, and a pink chocolate fountain, raspberry crème brulee, Nook’s signature assam pedas at Nook.
Celebrate Love at Greater Heights in Element KL
Couples will have the chance to experience a gourmet evening dinner at Trace Restaurant & Bar, while enjoying the scenic views of the city centre in a candle-lit setting.
The culinary team welcomes guests to taste a five-course rustic fusion menu, themed “Love is in the Air”, which will highlight notes of rustic, yet modern and luxurious concoctions on Feb 14, 2020, priced at RM388 per couple.
Four-course Romance Set Dinner at Four Points by Sheraton Puchong
Featuring a private dining experience combined with a stroller and live band at The Heron, this package will be perfect for the couple who want to spend some quality time together.
Meanwhile, The Eatery will also be open to host couples at RM148 per person, including a door gift and a glass of wine.
