Malaysia’s international reserves at US$104.2 billion

Bank Negara Malaysia said the international reserves stood at US$104.2 billion as at January  31,   2020. The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.5 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times total short-term external debt.

The end of January 2020 figure is higher compared to  US$103.6 billion recorded at the end of December 2019.
