Malindo Air passengers with valid tickets for flights to and from certain parts of Australia between Jan 7 to 31, 2020, issued on or before Jan 7, 2020, may opt to change their travel dates.
In a statement today, the airline said the change is applicable for passengers travelling to and from Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
It added that passengers may only change the date of their flights, but not their destination, and this would be subject to seat availability.
The new travel date should not be more than six months from the original departure date, and all details of the original ticket are to be shown on the new ticket, including the fare basis and fare calculation.
Malindo Air said the change fee and fare differences will be waived, and all changes must be made prior to the original departure date.
The airline had issued the travel advisory following the unprecedented bushfires that continue to ravage Southeast Australia.
Travellers may follow the latest weather updates for all parts of Australia, including fire warnings, via the Australia Bureau of Meteorology’s website, http://www.bom.gov.au/.
Alternately, passengers may contact Malindo Air call centre at +603-7841 5388 or visit its ticketing counters for the latest schedules.
