Realme Malaysia recently launched its new smartphone, the Realme X2 Pro, a new model equipped with a 64MP quad-camera setup.
The model, priced at RM2,399 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM variant, comes in two colours, Neptune Blue and Lunar White.
Realme Malaysia brand manager Tiffany Teh said the device that also offers a full high-definition plus AMOLED screen is a result of the brand’s “Dare to Leap” attitude as it believes in offering customers access to leap-forward performance.
“With this stylish and youthful design and appearance, it helps consumers make the right choice every time, we are confident in growing our brand from strength to strength in Malaysia, while maintaining the great feature and functional experiences that they have come to know and trust.
“The new model would give consumers upgraded features they want and bringing Malaysians further on a more Dare to Leap journey,” she said at the launch in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
To meet gaming experience needs, the smartphone has also been fitted with octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, while featuring a seven nanometre process and Adreno 640 GPU, which means 15% faster graphics rendering than the Snapdragon 855.
The flagship smartphone is also equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery and supports AI cooling technology, which helps with detecting applications that are not utilised frequently to stop them from running.
It also has a 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge through USB-C port, whereby a 0% battery can be charged to 100% in 35 minutes.
The charging speeds are protected by a five-core chip system which provides real time electrical current monitoring, while the phone also offers Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers for enhanced visual experience.
The phone has a 90Hz ultra-smooth display and low blue light protection, while carrying the capacity to be unlocked in 0.23 seconds, providing a comprehensive monitoring and recognition system.
The Realme X2 Pro Master Edition will also be made available, featuring a design signed by Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, a style that was said to be inspired by architecture due to its micro-particle texture on the back of the smartphone.
The flagship phone can be pre-ordered via Chup Dulu Lazada on Dec 5 at 12am, whereby customers who pre-order will receive wireless realme buds, a power bank and a backpack.
Realme X2 Pro will be later made available for a special offline midnight sale at DirectD Gadget Mega Store in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on Dec 7 and later on Lazada on Dec 12.
Teh said throughout the year, the brand has secured a 400% increase in sales volume between Double 9 and Singles’ Day on Lazada.
“So, this means that there’s a 162% increase in terms of realme smartphones being sold, which shows that Malaysians make a huge portion of realme products’ market,” she said.
